saturday morning i got an email from sue and she mentioned that she was planning on going to the kyobo bookstore later that day. i was supposed to meet up with dwight again, but he called and changed the plans to sunday, so all of a sudden i had nothing to do. since the kyobo bookstore is only about a five minute walk from my house, i text messaged sue and asked if i could meet up with her there. she said sure, so i met up with her there at 5:00p.

she was going there to pick up a book from the anne of green gables series. i told her i wanted to get a korean-english dictionary, and she helped me pick out a good one. after leaving there it was still early and neither one of us was really hungry but we went to eat anyways because we couldn't come up with anywhere else to go. she knew of an italian restaurant she'd been with her parents. the food was good, but the lighting in there was really bright, even though it was the evening and we were eating dinner, it felt like lunch.

we talked a lot, just getting to know each other better. it was a little hard for her since she was under pressure to speak english. luckily i had just picked up that dictionary, so that came in handy. while we were there, she got a call from kate, who was working at another part time job. she wanted to meet up with us, so we left there and headed over to the express bus terminal, where the store she works in is.

we decided to do some beer drinking, so we went to a bar there i'd been to before. a little while later kate's sister, whose english name is haley, met us there after she got off work.
