well, it's been ages since i've updated, sorry to all my faithful readers if you've stuck with me and are reading this. i'm back in korea now, but here are a few posts from my visit in california last month. i'll try to get caught up to the present in the next couple of days, thanks again for hanging in there.

way back on wednesday, february 15th i went to koreatown for dinner with some friends from july films. we went to 만나, the same place we went right before i went to korea last year. the side dishes aren't great there, but they offer all-you-can-eat korean barbecue, and we took full advantage that evening. actually it was really too much, i never even thought that was possible with korean barbecue, but we were all stuffed beyond a comfortable level once it was all over.

by the way, korean restaurants are the only place i've ever seen where raw meat is pictured on the menu and meant to make your mouth water. when i first saw that i thought it was kind of funny and not very appetizing. now when i see pictures of raw meat like this my mouth starts watering, so i guess it grows on you.

and next thing you know you are in taste heaven. by the way, steve also came by and joined us for dinner that night but he didn't make into the pictures 'cause he bumped into someone he knew and was chatting with them while we were having picture time. he knows a lot of people.

after that we went over to the balcony and i enjoyed an oreo shake. gavin, joe, and my good buddy dub-c aka will joined us over there as well. in the year since i was gone will managed to get married and now dub junior is on the way. congrats, will! i'll be looking forward to seeing some baby pics in a few months.
