on wednesday, march 1st yejee and sam came out to my part of town to hang out. march 1st is a national holiday in korea so they didn't have school and i didn't start work until the next day. first they treated me to a delicious 불고기 (bulgogi) dish for lunch. we were talking about my new apartment, and they offered to help me pick up some of the things that i needed to get. so after lunch i took them over to see the place, and on the way they insisted they pick me up a housewarming gift.

it's actually really good detergent, much better than the stuff i was using last year. all my clothes come out smelling really good. after they saw my place they were really impressed with it and said that i got really good deal on it. then we went over to a shop and they helped me pick out lots of stuff i needed. after that we went to a korean traditional tea place and enjoyed the day which felt much more like a sunday than a wednesday.
