saturday, april 22 i went to 명� (myeong dong) near 남산 (namsan, south mountain) where the seoul international cartoon and animation festival (sicaf) currently has their offices. my friend jinny works for them and is currently going crazy getting ready for this year's festival, which is being held at the end of may, a few months earlier than last year. she asked me to help her out a little by watching a few english language films and transcribe them to later be translated into korean for subtitles. it was pretty easy and the three films i did it for were all pretty interesting. one in particular was really cool, learn self defense by chris harding.
the weather was really nice that day and on my way there i had to stop and smell the flowers. well, take their picture at least.
