saturday, april 22nd in the evening i had plans to meet hyejin and dayoung in cheongdam for dinner. i finished helping jinny at sicaf earlier than i expected, so i headed to cheongdam with the intention of finding somewhere to sit and read for a while before meeting hyejin and dayoung.

i wandered around a bit and actually hit the jackpot with a nice, quiet park just near the subway station.

there were hardly any people in the park, i parked myself on a sort of gazebo wood structure and enjoyed reading some futuristic stories by philip k. dick for about forty-five minutes before heading out to meet hyejin and dayoung.

we went to a restaurant hyejin and i had been to before where they have excellent fruit soju. for some reason i didn't get a picture of it, but we had strawberry soju, which was made from real strawberries.
this seafood noodle dish was also excellent
after that we went to duchamp, and fancy cafe where they specialize in tiny cakes and expensive coffee. a coffee is like â‚©9,000 but they actually give free refills which is kind of cool.

i ordered a green tea latte, which was fabulous
unfortunately it was a tiny little teacup and therefore left me wanting more. and when i ordered a refill, it took a while and it was kind of cold.
