so after about three weeks of being busy, i'm finally getting a chance to put up some pictures of everything i was doing during those hectic times.
i traveled to hawaii for four days back in mid-may for my friend charles' wedding. they had their ceremony with an ocean backdrop on the back property of a quiet, secluded beach house.
i got quite a few pictures of it one afternoon when i happened to have a few hours of free time while everyone else was out and about.
beach house
the front of the beach house, which was located on the eastern shore of oahu
a side view of the house, the master bedroom/honeymoon suite was on the second floor
looking down the yard to the back of the house
a view of the yard looking back towards the front
the nice fountain located in the corner of the yard
another look at the yard
the living room and kitchen looking towards the back
another look at the room from the opposite angle
that couch on the right is where i slept. there was one more person staying in the house than there were beds, but luckily i'm a very flexible sleeper so i was totally fine with crashing on the couch. i would have volunteered to sleep on the floor somewhere, but hawaii has a lot of creepy crawly things in whose domain i'd rather not sleep.
looking out back from inside the living room
looking out to the ocean from the back yard
the beach front view to the left
the view to the right
looking back towards the house from the beach
this is where the wedding ceremony took place a few days later.
mountains in the distance beyond the house
my rented honda civic parked out front
the view looking back towards the island from the street
charles and lisa picked an amazing spot to hold their wedding, and it was even better that it served as a kind of headquarters for all of the wedding party members who came in from out of town.
